"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

moving! sorta...
Over the last few months, Brandon has been approached by several churches asking him to interview for a position on their staff as a graphic designer and media technician! He interviewed with two different churches and most recently we had a final interview as a couple with the pastor's at The Bridge Assembly in Mustang, OK. The Bridge is the church we have been attending for nearly three years, ever since we moved to the Oklahoma City area and we really do love it!! We love all that they offer for our two boys and Brandon and I enjoy the services geared toward us. I have also enjoyed being a part of the praise and worship team on Sunday mornings and really love attending the mom's group on Tuesday's! Currently, Brandon is working his last two weeks at his current job at the District Office of the Assemblies of God and he will begin work at The Bridge the first week of April. While we are very excited about a new chapter in our lives and Brandon is especially excited about a new challenge and about being back in full time ministry, I think it goes without saying that I am a bit nervous. If you know me then you know good and well that I'm not a big fan of change...OK let's just be honest, I HATE CHANGE!!!! I like my routine!! Ha!! As much as I dislike change, though, I truly am excited for what lies ahead and I know that soon I'll be asking myself how I've lived three years without being on staff at The Bridge. God always seems to work like that, at least for me. You think you're living the best possible life for yourself (and you honestly are at the time) so when God asks you to move on you are devastated and worried and a bundle of nerves only to find that God was asking you to do something that you would love even more then what you previously had. It just takes faith. So...nerves and all we're taking the plunge and very soon we'll officially be staff members at The Bridge!!!! Look out!! Here we come!!
