This weekend we truly had a great Saturday!! You know the perfect weekend days where everyone sleeps in and then you have a lazy breakfast and cup of coffee on the back deck in the cool morning air, you stay in your PJ's as long as possible, watch movies in the afternoon and head back outside to play after dinner. Aaaaaah!! So nice!! Making for an even better Saturday, the boys got along better then they have in a long time. I mean, don't get me wrong, they generally get along pretty well but they're still brothers...and brothers have their "moments". But this weekend Ash and Maddox played all day and had so much fun!! The TV's were off, the video games were off and brothers could be brothers. They played pretend in the backyard, they played pretend in the front yard and they played pretend in their bedroom. At one point, I saw Ashtyn with this green plastic slinky hooked around his neck. I laughed and asked him what he was doing. He said he was pretending he was some character who had to wear this around his neck or he "couldn't breathe underwater" Ha!!!! I love it!!!! I mean, who thinks of that!?!? Only boys with great imaginations!!!! Now let's just hope he doesn't actually try out his little invention once we set up the pool... =/
