You wouldn't know it today (since today it's in the 50's and pouring rain...) but on Friday afternoon it was HOT outside!! After Ash and I got home from the zoo, I took the boys into the backyard for some pre-summer fun!! They put on their bathing suits and ran through the sprinkler and then to top off our summertime afternoon we heard the ice cream truck in the distance!! Oooooooh!! I rushed inside and scraped together a few dollars and we ran into the front yard to wait for the truck to come by!! Sure enough we saw (and heard) the ice cream truck coming closer and we flagged it down!! Before heading back to the water hose the boys relaxed in the hammock and ate their ice cream!!As much as I'm a fall and winter girl at heart, this kind of afternoon makes me excited for summer to get here even faster!! I don't really like the heat but I'll take the late mornings, long afternoons in the pool and days with no set schedule with my boys over just about anything!!
