spring showers

OK mom (and Karianne) I know you're going to be jealous and I guess that's sorta the idea but we finally had our first good ol' fashion Oklahoma thunderstorm last week!! It wasn't severe weather and, in fact, it was kind of chilly outside but the rain smelled awesome, sounded even better and was coming down hard complete with lightening and thunder!! WooHoo!! We're supposed to get rain again this week but maybe...just maybe...we can save a storm or two for when you come down in June!! :) Oh...and I just have to point out that this video also shows the very different personalities of my boys! As I was taping, Maddox kept inching closer and closer to the edge of the porch, sticking his hands out into the rain and begging to run through it while Ashtyn backed away into the safety of the living room and I don't think we could have paid him to come out onto the porch...not to mention into the rain! Ha!! They are oh so different but each oh so perfect!!
