"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

beat the heat (but not the bulge!)
On Sunday, July 3rd, we went to church in the morning for a specail 4th of July Tribute service (which was beautifully done at The Bridge in Mustang, OK by the way!) and then we drove to Moore to see a movie and eat lunch at The Warren Theater!! It's one of those theaters where you can eat restaurant food ordered from the counter in the lobby inside your movie!! Mmmmmm!! We were seeing Cars 2 (the kids were super excited!) and we ate way too much yummy restaurant and concession stand food!! Us grown ups ordered burger sliders and pizza slices and the kids got nachos and popcorn!! And of course, we shared all around, each having some nachos and snacking on popcorn throughout the movie!! The snacks were awesome and the movie was funny but more importantly we were inside while it was 105 degrees outside!! Ha!! Thank heaven for movies...especially in the summer!!
