a little orlando, a lot of rest

On our third day in Orlando we had a much slower day. (It was much needed as well!) The boys hung out at the condo with Brandon while  Doug, Jill and I went to the convention center to register for General Council and National Fine Arts. We were also going to watch some Fine Arts presentations but after standing in THREE long lines just to get registered we didn't have any time left. Bummer. Good thing we had other "down days" planned to come back and soak in some National level Fine Arts! I think I was almost as excited about watching human videos as I was about going to Disney World! Ha!

After a long morning of filling out registration forms and receiving passes to different events I went to lunch with my parents, my boys and Seth at a local Chili's. We were pleasantly surprised when a Chili's employee stopped by our table and explained that she makes balloon animals while you wait for your food! So cool! My boys each asked for a bow and arrow and Seth wanted a pirate sword and parrot. I was quite impressed when the balloon artist quickly whipped up all the boys' requests without a second thought! She was GOOD! The boys were ecstatic and it definitely helped pass the waiting time at lunch! We ended our down day watching the boys play video games together in our condo. They got loud, competitive and laughed a lot. Nothing better than the sounds of kids on vacation.
