sweet to the last drop

Maddox cracks us up each and every day. He brings a different kind of life to our house that otherwise we wouldn't have. While Ash is a perfect combination of the more timid and shy qualities from both Brandon and I, Maddox is a perfect STORM of the loud, sarcastic and competitive qualities from both Brandon and I. Where Ash would go to his room and read quietly, enjoying some time to himself...Maddox would want to stretch out with his feet nearly in your face, playing his DS with the volume turned all the way up and insist on telling you (in his loudest voice) over the noise of his video game every detail of what he is doing and what his game characters are capable of. While Ash would prefer to lay in bed and read at night before falling asleep you can walk by Maddox's room at almost any moment before bedtime and find him doing somersaults across his floor, singing out loud and acting out scenes from movies where he plays all the characters. Our home is never dull. 

Recently, I happened to notice an interesting way Maddox was eating his Oreos. I have no idea how he thought of this but he was opening each of his Oreo cookies, scraping the frosting out into a giant wad in the palm of his hand and than eating all of the cookie parts, saving the mound of frosting for last! He was covered in sweet, sticky frosting goodness. After he was finished with his cookies he ate the cookie frosting sucking each and every drop from under his fingernails and licking his palm clean! He's the cutest and most hilarious mess I know!
