scrub-a-dub-dub

I never thought that adding a turtle to our family would be this much fun! He's a lot of work (which all falls to me, of course...) but I really have taken to the little guy! Sure, he's just a turtle but I like to check in on him and it's actually pretty cute when he begs for food. We've definitely been learning as we go with Crawler. One of the things we learned most recently was that turtles need to be scrubbed with a toothbrush! Not often but when we change his water we take him out of his tank, move him outside and Ash gives Crawler a much needed scrub down. Crawler seems to like his baths! He calms down, sits very still and let's Ash brush him. When he's done, though, he's DONE! And he lets you know it too! I honestly can't wait until Ash is big enough to clean out Crawler's tank all by himself but until then I'll take all the help I can get with bath time.
