thick as thieves

Having two boys, who are only two years apart, makes for some interesting days in our house. I love having my kids so close in age. They keep each other company, play so well together and I hope they stay best friends forever! But as good as it can be it can also go terribly wrong. They seem to be either thick as thieves or fighting like cats and dogs! On the worst of the worst days Brandon has to step in. This picture captures that perfectly. I don't remember what the boys were fighting about (I'm sure it was of the utmost importance...) but they were going at it and Brandon had to call them in for a good talking to. Brandon looks so serious. Ashtyn has his head down in utter despair that he disappointed his dad and Maddox is giving his best "I have no idea what you're talking about" innocent face to try and stay out of trouble! Ha! My boys are true to their personalities even when they are in trouble.
