a job well done

Tonight, our church's childrens department had an awards ceremony and celebration for BGMC! BGMC raises money for boys and girls missions around the world! Each child at church has a buddy barrell (or piggy bank) that they collect change in all month and then on the first Sunday of each month they bring their buddy barrell's to sunday school and the church collects the money for donation! Well, since the boys helped out by donating money to BGMC they were invited to Incredible Pizza tonight to eat yummy food and play hard to celebrate the money we raised this year! In total, our church's kids raised over $30,000.00 for BGMC in 2009!! WOW!! Good job kids!!

First up...FOOD!!! Incredible Pizza has an awesome buffet of pizza, pasta, tacos, salad and dessert! YUMMY! We ate way too much and then sat for the awards ceremony. The church handed out trophies to the top money raisers and then gave all kids who brought any amount of money a BGMC dog tag necklace and a $5 game card to play in the Incredible Pizza Arcade!!

Then we hit the game floor!!

When the night came to an end, and our game cards were empty, the boys lined up to spend their tickets! We ended up with 160 tickets and, believe it or not, we only walked away with a small plastic monkey, light up smiley face ring and two suckers! Well, I guess if you've ever been to one of these places then you WILL beleive that! The boys didn't care a bit though and are perfectly happy with their prizes!
