DIY treat

While we were grocery shopping a couple of weeks ago, the boys and I found these "make your own popsicle" kits and just had to pick one up! It was finally warm enough to make our first batch towards then end of this week and so we made a special treat as our first attempt. We, first, partially froze some sprite in the popsicle cups and then re-opened them and filled the remaining space with different flavors of koolaide!! They actually turned out AWESOME!! I took a taste of the orange flavored popsicle and would have eaten the whole thing if my boys hadn't wanted it! HA!!! I had to remind myself who these popsicles were really for!!! Anyway, I think this popsicle making kit will come in handy all summer long and next time...I'm making myself one too!!
