Today, after church and lunch out, we put the boys in their beds to take a nap (as we always do). Ashtyn was laying in mommy and daddy's bed and Maddox laid in his own bed with Brandon. I was laying on the sofa. About 30 minutes into naptime Ashtyn came walking into the living room with purpose in his step and a determined look on his face. He looked me right in the eye and said "I forgot something for you..." I, holding back the urge to tell him to go straight back to bed was a bit curious and asked, "What?" He just walked over and leaned in and gave me a big hug and a kiss... (smile!) I've never been more glad that I didn't scold him for getting out of bed...
