three down!!

Wow! We've made it through another week of Camp Cousin and come to the last day of Camp Cousin 2010! For today, we had plans to go to Orr Family Farm in Oklahoma City and we were super excited to go but we knew we had to get up and get going as early as possible because with heat indexes reaching 105 degrees ALREADY we didn't want to get caught outside drenched in sweat and not having fun...so we got ready and hit the ground running!!
First things first...the park!!

And then a pony ride!! It's the first time the boys have actually ridden the pony's in all the times we've visited the farm!!

Then we hit the petting zoo barn. Now, if you thought it was hot outside then you were in for quite a surprise in the barn where it was ON FIRE!!! The kids milked the (fake) cow...

(Good thing she's not real...I don't know if the ol gal would have survived Maddox's milking...)

and petted a few animals...

and fed the sheep...

and then we were out of there! Whew! Yep...already sweating!! Next we walked out to the giant jumping pillows!! These are SO neat!! You can jump so high on them!! EVERYONE joined in on this!! The only thing holding us back a bit was that the surface of the pillows was getting really hot and you couldn't wear shoes while you jumped so you either had to keep jumping or get off!!

Then we rode the pedal cars!! FUN!!

Of course, you can't go to Orr Family Farm without riding the train!!

And last, but certainly not least, we rode the carousel! Elia had been wanting to ride the whole day but when we first got to the farm it wasn't open. So, she got her ride and then while the daddy's took the kids back to the car, Rae and I bought some yummy home grown salsa at the gift shop!

After such a HOT day outside, we ate lunch and then headed to Orange Leaf for some frozen yogurt! Can you tell we enjoyed it??

It's almost hard to beleive, even at this moment, that our 3rd Annual Camp Cousin 2010 is over!! We started planning it so many months ago and now we're ready for Maddox's birthday, the 4th of July and even starting to plan Thanksgiving!! Wow, the year flies by!! Saturday, after everyone had left our house, Brandon and I worked feverishly to put the house back together and clean up. When all was said and done and we were going to bed Ashtyn said "Mom, I like it when our house is back to normal." HA!! He is so much like me!! I can't deny him!! Overall, I think Camp Cousin was a GREAT success!! I'm sure that as soon as we recover from this year we'll start planning for 2011!!
