Sister Day was pure awesomeness!!!! We left the kids with Brandon, Casey and Uncle Kevin and set out for a packed day of nothing but girly fun!! We started off with an early lunch at Inspirations Tea House in Edmond! It's this very cute and extremely girly froo-froo tea house that serves sandwiches, salads and soups...oh and yummy desserts and, of course, hot tea!! We enjoyed our light lunch and exploring the tea house's gift shop and then made our way to the mall for pedicures at the spa!! Rae and I each got flowers put on our toes but Karianne opted out of that as she has a wedding to go to in a couple days. Then we SHOPPED!!!! I mean, we shopped every store imaginable and we shopped hard!! We only stopped once to come up for air and a Starbucks!! HA!!!! After hours and hours of shopping (and buying!) we headed to Bricktown for dinner at The Melting Pot! Mmmmmmm! Rae had never eaten at The Melting Pot before so she was our newby but I think we've gotten her hooked! We enjoyed four courses of yumminess before taking a walk down memory lane by looking through some old photo albums of us when we were kids! It was fun to laugh at ourselves and remember old times! I think sister day was perfect for remembering memories of the past but also for making new memories for the future! Thanks Rae and Karianne for an awesome day!!!! I wish we could do it more often!!!!
