Notice anything different?? No...we didn't get a new van and no...she didn't even get a professional cleaning or anything like that. The only difference between this van and the one that was parked there yesterday? The huge traveling container that has been strapped to the top of our van since Christmas is gone!! HA!!!! When we drove to my parents house in Connecticut for Christmas last year we borrowed a van top storage container from a friend of ours to make the trip less crowded and easier and then just never took it down! In fact, it probably still wouldn't be down except that those same friends are now going on a road trip of their own and needed it! HA!! I won't really miss the bulky black box strapped to the top of my van except during one bi-weekly event...grocery shopping!! That storage box has come in quite handy when locating my van amongst the sea of others in the Wal-Mart parking lot...or the mall parking lot...or even a restaurant parking lot! In a way, I sort of fear my trip to the grocery store tomorrow! Yikes! Wish me luck!!!! On the plus side, though, I will probably get asked far less why I have a "surf board carrier" on my van!? Really?? People of Oklahoma, specifically those who work at the fast food drive thru, you think someone who lives smack dab in the middle of the United States has a need for SURF BOARDS???? I never understood that...HA!! (sigh)

one of these things is not like the other

I actually thought that you bought a new van without calling me. And then I read the entire blog entry! Funny how changing your clothes makes you look and feel different. I know that the van doesn't wear clothes but a loose connection can be made. (smile)
HAHAHA!! I know!! It does look different without the container on top! I really don't know if I'll find the ol' gal in parking lots for awhile...
