charlie and ashtyn sittin' in a tree...

We've had Charlie now for a couple months and while he's officially become the fifth member of our family Ashtyn is still a bit afraid of him. Ash has always had a fear of dogs and so we thought getting a puppy of our own would help him get used to dogs and even love them. While Ash is still very cautious with Charlie he's making great progress! I mean, Ash and Charlie won't be best friends anytime soon! Ha! Ash still doesn't want Charlie to chase him or jump on him and he gets scared when Charlie is playing a little too rough but this weekend Ash made a huge leap by letting Charlie lay next to him on the sofa while he watched morning cartoons! It may not seem like a big deal but Ash was very proud of himself and I think Charlie was excited to finally make another friend! It was sweet!
