"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

frozen in time
On any given day you will find legos strewn all over my house. The boys are just getting into legos. They aren't careful enough with them yet to really play with the big complicated lego sets but they love to build their own ships or guns and love even more to play with all the little lego figures. One day a couple of weeks ago I walked past the office doorway and saw this little lego man scene still set up on the wood floor! No one was playing with them, they had moved on to other things, but there sat the scene frozen in time...mid-battle I suppose! It was so sweet and I just couldn't resist taking a picture of it!
