here come the water works...

As part of my fall cleaning process, I am finally going through all of my families' keepsake boxes!! Ever since we had kids I have just had a tupperware storage container for each member of our family and I slip into it anything I want to keep...birthday cards, school papers, certificates, souvenirs from vacations, etc. Well, the bins are getting pretty full and so I wanted to go thru it all and come up with a better system. So, now I'm sorting everything by year and putting each year into a cloth storage unit in the office. It's been a fun project and has definitely brought back ALOT of memories...!!!

This is an old picture of me and my sister Karianne!! I love my sister!!

And this is a picture of ME when I was a toddler!! Ha!! My mom found it in HER keepsake boxes and passed it on to me!!

And this was probably the saddest memory of them all. I found the blonde curls from Maddox's very first haircut!! I never understood why people kept hair trimmings until after I had kids of my own. Maddox's hair is still blonde but I forgot how much blonder it was when he was a baby...and how curly it was!! He has grown up way too fast...

I have found tons of things in our keepsake boxes...the tassel from my high school graduation, Ashtyn's baby dedication certificate and both my boys dedication outfits! They were so tiny! Now that everything is sorted I can't wait to WAIT even longer and then look back in these boxes all over again...I'm such a sentimental girl sometimes...!!!
