"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

memories in progress
With the boys both in school during the day I've been trying to fill my time with projects I've been meaning to do for awhile but just haven't had time. Right now, I'm going through the boys keepsake boxes and organizing all of their school papers, drawings and certificates into binders. I've been keeping a plastic storage container for each of the boys and myself and Brandon since the boys were born. I put all of their special work in them as well as birthday cards, awards and mementos of family vacations. So far I've completed Ashtyn's Pre-School binder and both of his years in Kindergarten!! His binders are absolutely overflowing!! It's been alot of fun to go through all of the boys' stuff and relive memories. I've found pictures of them as babies, tickets to events we went to years ago and even pages where Ashtyn was learning to write his name for the very first time!! It's been alot of work to organize everything but I'm greatly enjoying it.
