pastors' kids UNITE!!!!

This weekend was Convergence in Oklahoma City. Convergence is a statewide youth event put on by the district office and generally both Brandon and I help out at it. This year, Brandon only worked the Friday evening service and, since I was working too, the boys had to come along! They were excited to follow mom and dad around, though, once they realized that their friends Seth and Gray would be there. Gray had actually just gotten out of the hospital that afternoon from his very last round of proton therapy (Woohoo!!) and so all the boys were eager to get in some good ol' fashion play time!! They couldn't really run around as much as they wanted to because, after all, we were inside a church AND there were about 2,000 teenagers wandering around and crowding up the place! Ha! But the boys still had a good time together! They watched cartoons on the iPad, made up a game of "monkey in the middle" using an event wristband as a ball and sat on the floor playing with action figures. It was neat to see them all together and all playing so well. I hope it never ends!!
