i'm dreaming of a white christmas

A few weeks ago we put up our Christmas decorations and it was a family affair!! Maddox helped daddy put up the outside lights while Ashtyn and I worked on the inside...OK, really, I worked on the inside while Ashtyn played video games!!

The boys always love putting their own ornaments on their room tree!! This year we got a new tree topper for the boys...yep, that's right, it's a yoda topper with a glowing light saber!! Ha!! He was too cute to pass up and, of course, the boys love him!!

As we were getting out the decorations, Maddox found some reindeer antlers that we bought last year and then proceeded to wear them around the house like sunglasses!! Ha!! I don't know where he comes up with this stuff!!

When we were all finished, Brandon took some pictures of our decor!! I love Christmas!!

This is the tree in our living room.

This is the tree in our bedroom. It has all of the crafty ornaments on it that the kids make at school and church and we also put our "yearly" ornaments on it representing things we've done or accomplished that year. This tree is my favorite!!

Brandon has always been SO opposed to putting a blow up Christmas decoration in our front yard...but this year when I was at Wal-Mart grocery shopping a Santa and Reindeer blow up mysteriously found its way into my buggy and I just accidentally paid for it and took it home...then once the boys saw it we simply COULDN'T take it back...!!! Hehehe!!! So, this year, for the first time we have a blow up Santa waving to all of our neighbors as they drive by!!

I love Christmas!! I love Christmas decorations!! I love cold weather and I love the snow!! Now, I'm praying for a white Christmas and praying for the next two weeks to go by really slowly so that we can enjoy each and every Christmas movie, each and every cup of hot cocoa and each and every cold night wrapped up in a fuzzy Christmas blanket wearing reindeer socks!!
