leaf diving

Two weeks ago, when we went to Ponca City for Auntie April's baby shower, we stayed at Noni and Papa's house!! The boys enjoyed some down time in Noni's yard and helped Papa rake leaves and feed the fish. "Helped" being used very loosely!! Ha!! While Noni and I were at the baby shower Saturday morning, Brandon snapped quite a few pictures of Ash and Maddox playing with Papa. And then when Noni came home she got in on a couple of pictures too!! The pics turned out AWESOME!!!! I can't wait to frame most of them!!

The boys played tag and hide-n-seek outside in the yard and then they begged Papa to rake up all the leaves into a huge pile so they could jump into them!! During tag, Ashtyn got kind of mad and then pouted because brother kept making up new rules throughout the game. Ash is a very strict rule follower and Maddox just flies by the seat of his pants...what's funny, is I'm pretty sure my mom has a picture that looks almost exactly like this of me when I was little because I was upset that I was losing a pillow fight between my dad and sister!! Ha!! I guess I can't deny that Ash is my son...!!!

He's definitely up to something...!?!? He has that awnry look in his eyes!! I think he was born with that...!!!

We had so much fun playing in the leaves and, as an added bonus, I got all these great pics!! (There's even more pictures but I just chose some to put on here!!) It's always nice to get away and spend a long weekend with Noni and Papa in Ponca City!!
