Since school started, just over a week ago, both the boys have done really well at going to bed and staying in their beds until they fall asleep. Unlike all the years of their lives leading up to now when they would get up about 100 times before falling asleep to ask for drinks, snacks, kisses and to go potty one more time! Last night, Brandon tucked the boys in and then came into the living room where I was watching TV. As Brandon sat down next to me he said "Ash wanted me to tell you he loves you..." What!?!? I was so happy to hear it but also a bit sad that he had sent the message through Brandon. I asked Brandon why he wanted B to tell me that and Brandon answered, "I don't know, he just said 'dad, can you do me a favor?' and then asked me to tell you that he loves you..." Oh my!!!! I was still a bit teary eyed that Ash didn't call me back there to tell me himself but was also melting over the fact that he even thought to send his loving message along! I love my boys so much!
