We had a great Easter!! Our church was doing a special service and so the boys and I had a slow morning getting ready and not rushing. Brandon had to be there before the sun, of course, but WE took advantage of the change in service times!! The boys looked so handsome in their Easter outfits...
When we left church, we beat daddy home and so I tried to stall the boys on the porch so that when we opened the door and they found their Easter baskets daddy wouldn't miss it. I told them they should try to peak through the front window and see if they could see what the Easter bunny had left...they're so cute!!
It only took daddy a couple of minutes to get home and it was finally time to go inside!! The Easter bunny had left the boys candy, new posters for their bedroom and had even hidden some candy filled eggs around the house!! Two of their eggs even had money in them!!
Grampa Mike and Gramma Pennie had also sent the boys Easter baskets from Connecticut. They were filled with candy, eggs and a HUGE toy truck in each!!
Thanks Grampa and Gramma!!
Mommy and the boys in their Easter best!!
Handsome Knight boys!!
Since Brandon works at the church, Easter isn't exactly the calm, relaxed, family day that it might be for others...but we still really enjoy it! The service that The Bridge put on was absolutely amazing and I was proud to be a part of The Bridge family!! Easter is also an amazing time to not only enjoy the day with family but also to teach our kids the true meaning of Easter. We're so very blessed!!
