too tired

With Gray's recent diagnosis and outlook, Seth has been spending some extra time at our house! One night, he came for an unexpected visit when Doug and Jill had to take Gray to the hospital. My boys were already in their pajamas by the time Seth arrived and it was a school night but, of course, we let them stay up and play. It was just one of those times when life interrupts your plans and you have to go with it. The boys played hard and Seth didn't go home until about 11PM but Ash didn't make it. He tried so hard but once the boys settled in with blankets to watch a movie he didn't stand a chance. He was just too tired to hang on any longer. Whenever Ash dozes off on the sofa covered in a baby blanket it still reminds me of when he was a toddler. He's so very sweet!
