what have I done?

I thought I was doing a good thing when I begged Brandon to join me in the wonderful world of sports...but now I'm second guessing that decision. Brandon and I have always been sort of opposite in our marriage when it comes to sports. I LOVE sports! I love competition and, most of all, I love rooting for MY team!! There's nothing better then spending an evening or weekend watching sports and the worst time of the year is when no sports are in season. Ugh. Anyway, throughout our marriage Brandon has endured football and basketball season with me but this year something changed. At first, I was excited, but slowly I think I'm regretting the monster I've created. For some reason, as this year's NBA season kicked off right at Christmas Brandon took a genuine interest in the games, stats, polls and talking head opinions on players and games. It was like he woke up on NBA opening day and a switch had been flipped! He was consuming basketball and most importantly he was eating, breathing and sleeping Thunder basketball!! Finally!! But then the other night, I was sitting in bed watching the game and Brandon came in and sat on the chair. Suddenly, I noticed that I was talking to Brandon and he was simply responding with "grunts" and "moans" with his eyes GLUED to the television screen. Huh!?!? Sure, I want Brandon to like sports but this is taking it to another level!! I guess in the end I can only blame myself...but if I ever find Brandon with a bare painted chest running through the living room with a team flag held over his head THEN I'll know we need to seek some outside help...!!!
