bible bunkin'

The other night I sent the boys to bed to read before actually having lights out and going to sleep. Both my boys really like to read but Ash in particular has inherited his mom's love for books!! As I walked down the hallway to check on the boys and make sure they were actually still reading and not up dancing or taking all of their toys out I saw something that not only made me the proudest mommy in the whole wide world but also melted my heart. As I peeked in on the boys, they were both on the top bunk in Ashtyn's bed and Ash was reading Bible stories to his little brother!! Oh my goodness!! I didn't even have words!! I snapped a picture and then called Brandon to tell him what was going on. We were both proud!! The next day I made a point to tell Ashtyn how proud I was of him not only for how well he was reading but also for reading Bible stories to his brother. He just sort of sighed and said "That's what dad said too..." So, maybe we made TOO big a deal out of how proud we were of both our boys but it was just the cutest and sweetest thing ever!! My boys truly are my life!! I love them so much!!
