Camp Cousin Day #4 was our first lazy morning of the week. I made a big breakfast of waffles and bacon and we just lazed around watching cartoons. Oh and we let Elia sleep in! All the boys were up and cuddling and watching TV while sweet Elia snoozed away. You would think Elia is odd man out because she's the only girl but, let me tell ya, I think in the future these boys are gonna have to stick together BECAUSE Elia is the only girl! Ha! She's got them right where she wants them.
After we all got ready, we headed to Chick-fil-A for some lunch and playtime. Noah got to try vanilla ice cream for the first time! Hehe! His mommy wasn't too happy with me for doing it but Noah sure enjoyed it! And besides, what's an auntie for!? All Noah has to do is bat those big blue eyes and this auntie gives in every time...
After lunch, we drove to the Mustang Library for story time. We arrived a bit early and so spent a little time playing and reading before story time began.
Elia even put on a puppet show for us!
Finally, it was time for story time to begin. Today the library had brought in a guest speaker. She's a children's book author who lives in Edmond. Turns out we even already have one of her books! The author spent about an hour telling stories and singing silly songs with the kids. They had alot of fun!
After the story time was over, we were surprised and SUPER excited to find out that the author was selling her books, meeting the kids and signing each of the books too! Cool! My sister and I most definitely CANNOT pass up an opportunity to buy our kids another book! Especially when they get to meet the author AND get her signature! Whoa! We're a sucker for all things reading. Nerds...I know.
When we got home mid-afternoon, Noah went down for a nap and the kids went outside to swim until dinner. Uncle Casey arrived during swim time and was nice enough to join the kids! They love swimming with their Uncle Casey! (He plays rough...)
Chunky monkey got his feet wet once he woke up from his nap.
Camp cousin day four was more relaxed and almost entirely indoors, which was an awesome break. It was also fun to simply be able to sit and chat with my sister for at least part of the day. We don't get to do that nearly enough.

Who was the author? Which books have she written?
I don't remember her name but she wrote Cowboy Camp and other kids books about animals. We bought one about a rooster while we were there.
