Noni of the Year

The boys had SO MUCH FUN during their visit to Noni's house in Ponca City!! They have gone for a few summer days all by themselves for three summers in a row and I don't think the boys' or Noni's summer would be complete without it! Noni had alot of plans for the boys on this trip and they couldn't have been more excited.

The boys may be 8 and 6 now but they still aren't too old to take baths at Noni's house. This is one of their favorite things to do!

I'm not entirely sure what was happening here...but if you can't paint your face and act crazy at Noni's house then where can ya!?!?

One of the brightest highlights on this year's trip to Noni's was when Noni took the boys to the Star Wars exhibit at the science museum in Wichita. This was like heaven for them! Maddox even told me he wishes he could live there! This is certainly something the boys will never forget and I think Noni wins the "Noni of the Year" award for this one!

Noni let the boys each choose something from the gift shop after their journey through the Star Wars memorabilia. Maddox chose a Star Wars book (which he LOVES!) and Ash chose an activity where you purchase a block of cement that has dinosaur bones buried inside and you have to chip away at the hard cement until you excavate all the bones and then put your dinosaur together! This is just up Ashtyn's alley. By the time I picked the boys up, Ash had completed his dinosaur skeleton!
 

During their stay at Noni's house, the boys also visited Sun N Fun in Ponca City and had a water gun fight at Uncle Tyler and Aunt April's house. They made so many wonderful memories. When I went to pick up the boys on Thursday morning we made one more trip to the Splash Pad with cousin Natalie for some last minute fun before heading home. I love this picture!

On our way home the boys and I grabbed some Sonic. My world is complete again!

It's SO good to have the boys home! It just feels better going to sleep at night knowing everyone is in their own beds, safe and sound. Now we only have six days until the boys go back to school and it's going to take ALL SIX of them to get the boys well rested and back on a schedule before the first day. Wish me luck!
