date day

This week the boys went and stayed with Noni for a few days before school starts again. This is the third summer in a row that the boys have visited Ponca City all by themselves. It's never easy to spend a few days without them but they have a BLAST with their Noni and Brandon and I get a few days to ourselves. Brandon drove the boys to Ponca City on Sunday. Brandon had to work most of the days the boys were gone but Monday he had the day off and we spent it having a full day date! First we got lunch at one of our favorite places...PF Changs! We just can't get enough of their fried green beans! Mmmmmm!

Then we went to the mall and saw The Dark Knight. SO GOOD!!!! It was definitely worth seeing on the big screen!

The rest of the time the boys were away Brandon worked while I went to camp to visit friends and cleaned house. We also watched House in the evenings. We were desperate to get the boys back when Thursday finally arrived but it's always nice to catch up as a couple.
