"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

cousins make the world go round
I absolutely LOVE that my boys are growing up close to their cousins! There's nothing better than your family being your friends and when you're all the same age it's even better! Towards the end of a recent play date Rae and I took out our phones for an impromptu photo shoot with our kids. They just looked so cute all sitting in the top of the swing set that we couldn't resist. We got a couple of AMAZING shots with three of our kids smiling and happy...and then Noah wanted to get away! Ha! Maddox did his best to try and hang on for just one more good pic but it wasn't happening! Ha! We couldn't stop laughing! I love all of the pics, though. The perfect ones and the not-so-perfect ones! All together they make a perfect memory of that day and a perfect memory of who our kids are.
