"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

mini macgyver
My little Ashtyn is the most creative person I know! He has a notebook full of inventions, creates things with Lego's no one else would ever think of and when he goes into creative-play-mode I truly believe he's lost to the world. A couple of Saturday's ago, I'm pretty sure Ash came up with an alternative to expensive 3D television! Who needs to shell out the big bucks for a 3D TV and the special 3D glasses when you have a good old fashion pair of binoculars!?!? We were watching the OSU game on TV when I looked over and realized that Ash was watching the game from the sofa through his binoculars. When I asked him what he was doing he said "when I watch the game through my binoculars I feel like I'm really AT the game!" Hahahaha!! Oh Ash!! So sweet!! It's the little things, ya know?! If you don't have a big time TV and you definitely don't have tickets to the game then you make do with what you DO have...and in this case it was binoculars!
