Elia received a headband making kit for her birthday and over Christmas she asked me if I wanted to make some headbands with her! Ummmm...OF COURSE! You don't even have to ask! Having two boys I play Legos, Legos and more Legos all day...I'll make headbands every single chance I get! So headband making it was, Elia in her princess dress and Auntie Ucka in girly heaven!

Elia and I shared a variety of buttons, flowers, ribbon and glitter until we had 4 beautiful headbands! I'm not sure how we got them to but after our handy work dried the boys modeled our premiere line of homemade accessories. They actually look like they like them too!

James wasn't as excited to model his flowery headband but since he's only 3 months old we forced him to anyway against his will!

I love doing girly things with my niece. It's always a much needed and even more welcomed break from playing with boys! Plus, it takes me back to being a little girl myself and that's always a pleasant memory!
