"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

octo-undie
Maddox MIGHT have a small obsession (okay, an overly bizarre and out of hand obsession...) with shoving things into his underwear and dancing around the house like a crazy person. He'll do just about anything for a laugh (which, I'll admit, scares me a bit) and apparently putting stuffed animals and blankets in your undies is a sure-fire way to make people laugh hysterically! What does that say about our family...!?!? Hmmmm. Anyway, most recently, Maddox came into my bedroom with his stuffed octopus shoved into the front of his underwear and his favorite blue blanky shoved into the back. As usual, he wasn't shy AT ALL about showing off his new "bumps and bulges" and, of course, did quite the dance for me. I don't know what it is but I just can't stop laughing when he does this! His face, his energy, his moves, his tan lines...it's all hilarious! I'm not sure WHEN or even IF Maddox will grow out of this but I'm pretty sure that it'll be funny forever!!!! And these pictures will haunt him just as long...
