"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

conversations with auntie ucka
On my sisters most recent visit to our house I had the absolute privilege of watching my nephew, James, while my sister took a shower. (A coveted novelty for a new mommy!) I had a blast talking to James and keeping him entertained until his mom returned. He gave me a ton of adorable smiles and took in every word I said. He's such a cutie! If I could've I would've hid him away until his mommy and daddy flew back to Connecticut and kept him with me forever! Those cheeks! I just can't get enough of those cheeks!
