Ashtyn's Junior Bible Quiz Team qualified to participate in the Statewide district tournament! We were so proud and Ash was so excited! His team came in 2nd in our section and so went on to compete in the district competition. We have truly loved being a part of the Quizzing Lizards team this year and hope that we will have that chance again next year.

Because it was the district Bible Quiz competition, the JBQ team had set up a carnival theme at the church and the kids had a blast taking part in it. They had inflatables, games, snacks and you could even earn tickets and buy prizes from the little prize shop at the carnival! Fun!

There was also a photographer at the competition taking pictures of each team in front of a JBQ backdrop. They took a serious picture and a funny picture. When it came time to order ours Ashtyn wanted to buy the silly one! I love it!

Our little first year team didn't place well at JBQ Districts but they had fun. Sure, they may have come in 4th out of 5 teams but they didn't know that. They just knew they got certificates and quizzed as best as they could. I was so proud! I think Ash has found his niche. Plus, it's fun for our whole family, we make lots of new friends AND learn a lot along the way!

Thank you to Ashtyn's coaches, Margie and Tiffani and to each of his teammates for such a fun season! I vote that the Quizzing Lizards reunite for a reunion season next year! If we did this good our first year just think of what next year could hold!
