camp cousin 2014 day three

Camp Cousin 2014 Day Three. Today we went to the Dallas Zoo! Six kids and seven adults...this should be a breeze! If it hadn't been so hot it probably would have been a breeze but we still had a blast!

What's a day at the zoo if you don't climb on and pose with all the life sized bronze statues!? I'm pretty sure we spent more time with these statue elephants than with the real elephants...

This is the definition of joy.

Oh Aunt Kiki! Leave it to my baby sister to point out that there is a giant elephant backside sticking out of the wall...and then suggest taking this picture with it! Ha!

Feeding the giraffes was so worth it!

I kept waiting for him to wake up and scare the kids to death...but he didn't.

Before cooling off in the kid zone wading river...

and AFTER cooling off in the kid zone wading river! This may or may not be Maddox's model pose.

The albino alligator definitely did not disappoint. If there weren't snakes in the next room I think Ash would have stayed in here all day.

Elia was going through a "take my picture like this" phase this summer. She wanted her picture taken with nearly everything with her posing with her hand over her mouth, a wide eyed expression, and pointing at whatever piqued her interest. It was hysterical!

Again...an Aunt Kiki prompted photo op.

Karianne loved that OUR kids loved the snakes but when her youngest son took an interest in them it creeped her out and she couldn't look!

The zoo was a hot, humid BLAST and so once we got back to Auntie Rae's we couldn't resist the pool at sunset once again. To the pool, boys!
