I think Maddox enjoyed his ice cream! HA!!
Once we got back to the house we spent the hot afternoon swimming...

having a much anticipated water balloon fight...

Aunt Kiki even took her turn on the slip-n-slide!!
We grilled out burgers, hot dogs, corn on the cob and baked beans and enjoyed a yummy backyard meal (OK...we ate inside...but it was HOT!!!) and then we planned on having s'mores for dessert. The kids were SOOOOO tired, though, that we ended up putting them down for bed a bit early and then us grown-ups enjoyed s'mores around the firepit!! It was a fun evening of conversation and laughs!! I can't believe Camp Cousin 2010 is already more then halfway over. But there's still so much more fun to be had!!

whew...Wednesday
Halfway through Camp Cousin already??? The week is flying by!!! Today we went to yet another movie!! Our movie theather also has a summer movie schedule of kids movies and our theater was showing Ice Age this week!! We've never had so much movie popcorn in one week in our lives...but who's complaining!?!? HA!! We enjoyed the movie and then geared up for a day in Bricktown!! First up...touring Bass Pro Shop!! We looked at the fish and all the animals and the kids also took their best shots in the shooting range!! Grampa would be proud!!

Closing one eye and everything!!!!

After our Bass Pro adventure, we had lunch outside and then went on a water taxi ride on the Bricktown Canal. Our guide (and captain!) was really funny and had lots of great stories! Not to mention all the Oklahoma history we learned on our tour!

Then we ended the afternoon with a trip to Cold Stone Creamery!! Mmmmm!! Not only did we want ice cream but we were also craving the air conditioning at this point!! HA!! Each year at Camp Cousin we tend to walk away from the week with one quote, from one of the kids, that stands out as the funniest thing said during the entire week. Well...I think we got our "quote of the week" during our visit to the ice cream shop. It'll be hard to top, over the next few days, anyway! Us grown-ups were sitting at one table and the three kids were sitting at the table next to us. We were about halfway finished eating our ice cream when Elia came marching over to our table while pointing (and staring) at the girl serving ice cream behind the counter. Elia looked determined...and as she approached our table she announced (in a voice loud enough for everyone enjoying Cold Stone to hear) "MADDOX SAID SHE'S A MAN GIRL!!" (adults immidiately covering their faces, giggling into their hands and, of course, Rae quickly telling Elia to hush...) OH MY!!! It was hilarious!! I'm still not sure what Maddox meant or what he was trying to say but it sure made for a memory moment!! DEEP sigh...
