The boys friend, Seth, came over tonight for a short playdate! Seth is 10 so, as you can imagine, both Ashtyn and Maddox do EVERYTHING Seth does and like or dislike EVERYTHING Seth likes or dislikes! All it takes is a word from Seth and both my boys are following and agreeing! Oh the power!!! Tonight, since I knew Seth would only be here for about an hour I tried (oh how I tried...) to get the boys to do something calm. At first I pursuaded them to play quietly with toys in the playroom and then I got them to sit and watch Wipeout for all of about 15 minutes. Finally, after they slowly started having bursts of energy during commercial breaks and the swords started making their way out of the toy box I gave up and just let the boys be boys! It's WAY more work to keep them still then it is to just let them go and worry about the clean up later! At first they played dress up but before I knew it Seth was pretending to be a mechanical bull while Ashtyn and Maddox took turns "riding" him!! I have to admit...it was HILARIOUS!!! There's never a shortage of energy (or noise!) when these three boys get together!!!

there is nothing more precious than my sweet grandsons playing with one of my favorite boys....what God had planned all those years ago when Seth played at my house and wandered around my yard as only a boy can!
haha...looks like fun! I wonder if Seth would let me play!!! lol
