CC2011 Goin All Out!!

Camp Cousin Day #3 was our slow day, so to speak. We drove to Mustang from Ponca City in the late morning and went straight to Chick-fil-A for lunch. We LOVE Chick-fil-A!! We ate lunch and the kids played in the playground. Quickly after lunch, we took a camp cousin detour into Target (which is right behind Chick-fil-A...) and Gramma Pennie treated the kids to new school backpacks and lunch boxes!! They were SO excited!! Ashtyn chose a Mario themed backpack and a Scooby Doo lunch box and Maddox chose a Star Wars backpack and matching lunch box. I'm still not ready for school...but my boys are...

In the afternoon, we went to the local bouncy house playground called "Play Zone". It is air conditioned, cheap and the kids can run and yell and run and yell to their hearts content!! A mom's dream come true!! Ha!! When we first arrived there were a few other families playing but they left pretty soon and then we had the entire place all to ourselves! It was awesome!! The kids played hide and seek, tag and even made up a weird little game where Elia played the part of a "crazy monkey girl" and would chase the boys around!! Ha!! We all got a good laugh from that one!! Elia was making monkey sounds and everything!!

Then, after getting all hot and sweaty in Play Zone, we treated ourselves to frozen yogurt at Orange Leaf!! Mmmmm!! I had been looking forward to this all day!! I'm usually a pretty boring frozen yogurt sundae maker. My "usual" is plain vanilla ice cream with a few fresh strawberries or maybe a few chocolate chips mixed in. Today, though, I went ALL OUT and got a waffle cone bowl with chocolate ice cream, brownie pieces, fresh strawberries and a little bit of chocolate syrup!! Whoa!! It was rich and hit my sweet tooth craving perfectly!!

The kids always love a trip to Orange Leaf!! Somehow, on this visit, Maddox was able to get his frozen yogurt all over himself to the point that his fingers were sticking together!! Ha!! Who knows...

After frozen yogurt, we spent the evening at our house swimming and then got pizza for dinner. I can't believe Camp Cousin 2011 is already half way over...
