Our air conditioner went out this week and even though it was only actually out for two days that was two days too many!! Mid-October with no A/C probably isn't too bad for most parts of the country but here in Oklahoma it's no fun at all!! Sure, I was glad that it wasn't July or August but this was bad enough. To stay cool, the boys and I went to Target one day after school and just walked around to avoid the hottest part of the day in our house and the next day we were all tired so we went home, crammed ourselves into my bedroom with the door closed and with the ceiling fan on and two free standing fans blowing and watched cartoons. It actually stayed pretty cool in there!! The boys found an even better way to stay cool when they took turns standing over the floor fan and letting it blow up their shirts and shorts!! Ha!! They're so very smart...and so much cooler then mommy!! Ha!!
