"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

obsessive and proud
Recently, I found my boys doing something in their room that made this mama oh so very proud!! What were they doing?? No, they weren't making their beds or putting away laundry. They weren't folding blankets or playing a board game without fighting...no, in fact, THEY WERE ORGANIZING THEIR TOYS FOR FUN!!!! Ha!! Love it!! If you don't know me then you may not know that I could quite possibly have the worst case of OCD ever. OK, maybe not ever but I'm pretty bad. I organize to relieve stress, will refold laundry if it isn't perfect and literally know what's in every single cabinet and every single drawer in my house. I'm crazy I know. It's a disease, but not one that I necessarily want to be cured of!! So, when I walked into my boys' room and Ash was sorting his bakugan toys and Maddox was sorting his legos by color I was bursting with OCD pride!! Sure, there's part of me that hopes they don't end up quite as bad as me because there are times I wish the nagging OCD voice in my head would just go away but I certainly was happy that they at least wanted their toys to be neat and orderly!! Keep it up boys!! Keep it up!!
