"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

whistle while you work
The week of Fine Arts was CRAZY!!!! I had alot of last minute things to do and errands to run and in the midst of it all I had to find time to at least pick up my house before my mother-in-law arrived to watch the kids for the weekend!! Yikes!! I didn't have alot of time to get any good cleaning done so one evening I had the boys help me knock out some of the more obvious things like cleaning mirrors and wiping down the bathroom vanity. The boys were SO excited to help and their enthusiasm made me laugh!! I only hope that they're this excited to clean in a few years. I know that's probably a lost cause but I'll definitely use their enthusiasm to my advantage while I can...!!! Sure, we probably wasted more then a few squirts of windex and lysol spray but oh well...at least I didn't have to do it all myself!!
