t-ball, babies and bathtime!! oh my!!

Thursday evening, after the last day of school, our family headed out for a weekend visit to Ponca City!! The boys' cousin, Elia, has been playing t-ball this spring and we haven't been able to attend any of her games and so with an evening game on the last day of school we took the opportunity to go cheer her on!! It was so cute and exactly what you would expect to see a bunch of 5 and 6-year-old's playing t-ball. They don't keep score and everyone gets to run the bases but the kids had a blast and it was fun to cheer for Elia!! She had the biggest cheering section that night I must say!!

That evening, my sister Rae and to run to the store and so I was put on baby Noah duty!! I love being on baby duty of any kind and so I was looking forward to it. Unfortunately, Noah was kind of fussy and winding down for the night and so we had to keep changing activities just to keep a smile on his face. He laid on his musical play mat for quite some time but it just wasn't cutting it...

So, we moved to the bumbo seat...which seemed to do the trick at first!! He was super excited about whatever Uncle B was watching on TV...

but soon he even lost interest in that...

So, I thought back to my days as a mommy to an infant boy and decided that if nothing else worked we would just strip him down and put him in a warm bath!! That did it!! Noah was very content and happy in the bath. I honestly think he would have stayed there for as long as I let him but before long the older kids were getting tired and fussing at each other so I had to take Noah out of the bath so that we could rejoin the world and get everyone else to bed. Bummer.

Before giving big sister and cousins too much attention, though, I couldn't resist just a teeny bit more alone time with my nephew!! While I got Noah in his PJ's we had quite the conversation!!

The summer has only begun and we're already having so much fun!! This summer is a busy one too but hopefully we'll be spending alot more time with family!!
