Noah woke up before anyone else and we had some good snuggles and smiles in a quiet house...
Once everyone was up, the boys played with Noah while I got breakfast ready. They LOVED having baby Noah in the house!! When they woke up each morning they would instantly run to wherever Noah was and make silly faces at him to make him smile and laugh!! It was very cute!!
Two peas in a pod!! Look out world!!
Proud big sister!! She was helping me brush Noah's teeth!! (Even though he doesn't have any...)
Ashtyn was very proud when he discovered he could make Noah belly laugh by showing him his library book!! Ha!! Ash got a little camera shy once I started recording but Noah certainly loved Ashtyn's book!!
We actually got to the library with a little bit of time to spare (Woohoo!) and so the kids played with all the toys the library had laid out and read books while we waited.
Noah just took it all in...
Once story time began the kids sat right on the front row and were very good!! There was a special guest story teller that morning and she was very good at keeping the kids attention. Everyone had a blast!!
We headed home after that for some backyard swimming and playtime. While I was talking and playing with Noah I watched him as he found his thumb and began to suck on it!! I had never seen him do that before so I took a picture and sent it to Rae asking if that was normal. She said he had NEVER done that before at home either!! I don't know if he's ever done it since leaving Auntie's house but that day he sucked his thumb about three different times!! I know it's a bad habit but he looks oh so cute doing it!!
That night for dinner I made something super simple that a friend told me about. All I did was make Jiffy cornbread mix and scoop it into muffin tins. Then I cut up a hot dog and pushed a piece of hot dog into the middle of each cornbread muffin and baked them. They were SO good and, of course, the kids loved them!! In fact, the next morning when I asked the kids what they wanted for breakfast Elia asked to have the corn dog muffins again!! Haha!! Unfortunately, we had eaten them all the night before but I was glad she loved them so much!!
Day two as a family of six was fun!! I honestly forgot how much less sleep you get with a baby in the house (and Noah's a better sleeper then either of mine were...) and so even by the end of day two I was tired...but I love having family over, especially my niece and nephew, and so I wouldn't trade it for the world!!
