CT Trip Day #4 "Fancy James"

On our fourth day in Connecticut, Monday, September 24, Kevin, Karianne and baby James were still in the hospital and so Rae and I got up, got ready and headed back to the hospital. On this morning, I was excited to feed Noah breakfast and give him his bath while Rae got ready. I miss having a baby and so getting to watch Noah was a lot of fun! Noah was cracking me up eating his little finger food vegetable puffs. He would make an awful face every single time he tasted one but kept right on eating them! It was hilarious!

After breakfast, I gave Noah his bath! He LOVES the water! (As you can clearly tell...)

Once we got to the hospital we were excited to see baby James dressed up! He was wearing an adorable polo onesie! Aaawww! Poor James had to go through a lot this day between shots and a variety of tests and the poor boy was just worn OUT! He had a lot of visitors stopping by and I'm not sure he really ever woke up for any of them! Ha! I guess I can't blame him...

Us Aunties couldn't help but take some more pics with our new little nephew! We're not proud or anything...!!!

Noah got to meet James for the first time today too! I'm not sure he totally got it. We kept joking that he probably thought it was just a doll like big sister plays with! Ha! I'm sure Noah will take more interest once James can actually get up and play with him.

Besides visiting Kevin, Karianne and James we didn't do too much on Monday. We ran downstairs to the hospital restaurant to get food a couple of times and walked Noah around the hospital hallways when he got fussy. We ended up heading back to mom and dad's house pretty early in the evening when more and more guests were showing up to visit the new little Groves family. I guess we have to share! Ha! I definitely can't wait for tomorrow, though, when I get to hold James again!
