"Nature looks dead in winter because her life is gathered into her heart. She withers the plant down to the root that she may grow it up again fairer and stronger. She calls her family together within her inmost home to prepare them for being scattered abroad upon the face of the earth." Hugh Macmillan

uncle softy
Our boys are growing up so fast and sometimes it's hard to remember what it was like to have babies in the house. Thankfully, though, both of my sisters and both of my sisters-in-law ALL had babies in 2012 and so B and I get to experience all the fun of playing with babies again without having to be up all night and without having to wrangle a toddling toddler all over again either! We get all the benefits without any of the responsibility! And what's even better is we get to laugh when the babies do something "bad" because it's oh so much cuter when it's not your own kid doing it! Hehe! It's great being an aunt and uncle! I've particularly loved seeing Brandon with all the babies again. He's such a wonderful dad and now seeing him be an uncle to little ones reminds me of how wonderful he is all over again.
