I found the perfect jewelry for the occasion!!
And who could have 80's night without hot pink lips!?
The cherry on top of the sundae was my full on crimped hair-do! I haven't had this goin' on since I was like 7-years-old!
What!? What!? Bring it girl!!
I tried a press on manicure for the first time for Girls Retreat 80's night! It was actually pretty easy and looked really good!
Unfortunately, all of the following pictures turned out the wrong direction but hopefully you can still see what we put together. I was kind of "in charge" of the 80's late night candy bar. It was so fun to look up what candy was popular in the 80's and then find as much of it as I could and put it all together! We found Boston Baked Beans, candy bracelets, hot tamales, dum dums and many other things. We bought neon colored bowls, old-school glass candy servers, and muffin cups to use as bowls. It turned out beautifully and it was yummy too!
The big bummer of the weekend was that we had to work so hard and so long to put late night together that we didn't have time to put on our 80's outfits...it was so sad. I was honestly very disappointed but the event turned out great and now I have a handful of huge plastic bangles, a stick of ridiculously pink lipstick and a hair crimper for whenever I may feel like reliving my 80's childhood! Ha!
